We have scheduled a software upgrade on a core router in Chicago, IL to bring it up to the current recommended software version. This upgrade is part of an ongoing regular maintenance schedule for our core network. Date: Sunday, February 21st, 2016 Customer Impact: During the maintenance, we will be updating the software on one of our core routers. We will upgrade to the currently recommended software version, which includes fixes for known bugs and adds new features. The upgrade will only be applied to a single device, so redundancy will be maintained throughout the maintenance period. We expect the customer impact of this maintenance to be minimal, though some brief periods of localized inaccessibility and suboptimal routing may occur. The upgrade process is expected to take approximately one hour. Additional time is being allowed in case of issues with the process and for testing following the upgrade. If you need assistance during the maintenance, or if you have any questions about this planned work, please contact us via our helpdesk or by calling (312) 602-2689 or (888) 281-9449. | |
