Greetings Steadfast Customer, Summary: Servers in the chi01 datacenter are being relocated and will be rebooted. Date: September 15 between 12:00 AM and 8:00 AM The Details: Digital Realty has scheduled a power maintenance in our chi01 datacenter. This maintenance will require disconnecting power from the A-side power feed for an extended length of time, followed by reconnection of the A-side, and then the same performed on the B-side. To prevent this extended downtime from affecting you, we are scheduling a maintenance to relocate your server into a new cabinet with redundant power feeds, that will not be affected by the extended power outage caused by Digital Realty’s work. We have been attempting to reach out to you for several months, with an offer for an upgraded server. You are receiving this message because we either could not reach you or you have not yet completed the migration to your new system. Who is affected: To determine which devices will be affected, visit https://manage.steadfast.net, select Device Manager, then View Devices. A server will be affected if the description for the server begins with “chi01” and DOES NOT begin with any of the following:
This affects servers that were NOT moved during the maintenance on the prior weekend (September 8 and 9). What we are doing: At the specified time, your system will be shut down, relocated within the datacenter, and powered back up. Your IP address(es) and passwords will not be changed. What you need to do: You do not need to take any action, your server will be shut down and relocated during the specified time by default. If you would like to schedule a time to have your server moved beforehand, please open a ticket by emailing support@steadfast.net with a time that works for you. Thanks again for choosing Steadfast! | |
