In order to improve performance and reduce network filesystem overhead, we are upgrading the networking components that interconnect our backup servers and backend storage systems. This maintenance will begin Tuesday, June 23rd at 1 PM US Central Time and is expected to be completed by 4 PM. It is possible maintenance may be completed more quickly. This afternoon time period was selected due to the fact it represents the lowest usage period for backup service customers. All backup files and resources will be unavailable for the duration of the maintenance period, and any backups running at the time the maintenance begins may be interrupted. If you wish to avoid problems, you might wish to disable any backups scheduled during the maintenance period and then enable them again after the systems are back online.
