Update 2:06 AM: We are investigating a problem with a cable that is preventing us from establishing an important link. There may still be brief interruptions in connectivity over the Internal network. Update 1:19 AM: The DWDM equipment has been powered up in the chi02 location. We are completing cabling changes now. Update 1:10 AM: The DWDM equipment has been powered down and equipment is being moved. During this period, internal network communication between sites may be unavailable. Update 1:01 AM: We are beginning this maintenance now. We will provide updates as they are available as to progress and any issues encountered. We will be conducting network maintenance to physically move our active DWDM gear from our chi01 datacenter over to our chi02 datacenter on Tuesday, October 25, 2011. Date: Tuesday, October 25, 2011 Start Time: 1:01 AM CDT (GMT-5) End Time: 3:00 AM CDT (GMT-5) Maintenance Scope: Physically move DWDM gear from chi01 to chi02 Location: Chicago Customer Impact: Period of inaccessibility between for customers using our internal network. We will be performing maintenance on our active DWDM gear to physically move it from chi01 to our chi02 datacenter. This will only affect customers who currently use our internal network. We expect the customer impact of this maintenance to be minimal, though some brief periods of inaccessibility will occur. While the work itself may only take a few minutes of configuration, we are allowing extra time to allow for extensive testing. This will give us the ability to ensure that no further issues will occur. If you have any questions regarding this maintenance, please feel free to contact us in response to this email at noc@steadfast.net. | |
