Cloud Hosting: Data Store Diagnostics

We have scheduled diagnostics to investigate a minor hardware fault for the SAN hardware that serves Cloud Performance Data Store "chi18-primary5." The hardware fault is not currently impacting performance of the system. You can determine if your VM(s) are affected by accessing the Virtual Machine Overview page and selecting "Disks" from the "Storage" menu. If "chi18-primary5" appears in the "Data Store" column, the indicated disks use the affected storage system. Date: Tuesday, July 1st, 2014 Due to the redundant nature of the SAN, the workload will be transferred to the backup controller while the active controller is taken offline for diagnostics. When the load is transferred normally, there should be no interruption to service, though periods of slow response times may occur. While we expect the transfer of load to be seamless, if a failure condition occurs that may impact filesystem integrity, we will stop maintenance and proactively correct issues. No other data stores will be impacted by this work, nor will any SAN storage used by non-Cloud customers. If you have any questions or need assistance during the upgrade, please contact us via our helpdesk. | |
