cPanel/WHM is available as a pre-installed template for CentOS 6 and CentOS 5. Make sure your VM meets the minimum system requirements: cPanel recommends at least 10% CPU (we recommend 5% on each of 2 cores), 512MB of RAM and 10GB of disk space.
If you prefer to install cPanel from scratch, you may, by using the following directions:
Once installed and licensed, you can access WHM at https://YOURIP:2087/ using the username "root" and your root password. Once you have created user accounts, cPanel can be accessed for those accounts at https://YOURIP:2083/. WHM User Guide: http://docs.cpanel.net/twiki/bin/view/AllDocumentation/WHMDocs/WebHome Getting a LicensecPanel includes a 45 day trial license by default. To add or remove licenses you must open a ticket with our sales department or email sales@steadfast.net. cPanel licenses are $10 a month each. We are hope to have automated cPanel license ordering available in the next several months. | |
