1. Set up a cPanel Virtual Machine by selecting the appropriate cPanel x64 option, listed under Template Sets, then CentOS 6 or CentOS 5.
2. Get the license as directed below, then log into your server via SSH and run the following command to update your server's licensing information: /usr/local/cpanel/cpkeyclt

If you prefer to install cPanel from scratch, you may, by using the following directions:

1. Setup a cPanel compatible VM by selecting a base CentOS image, listed under Template Sets, then CentOS 6 or CentOS 5.
2. Run the following commands as root on your VM: cd /home
wget -N http://httpupdate.cpanel.net/latest
sh latest
3. Allow 30 minutes to 1 hour for installation. Once the process completes, you should be able to access your control panel.
4. Get the license as directed below, then log into your server via SSH and run the following command to update your server's licensing information: /usr/local/cpanel/cpkeyclt

Once installed and licensed, you can access WHM at https://YOURIP:2087/ using the username "root" and your root password. Once you have created user accounts, cPanel can be accessed for those accounts at https://YOURIP:2083/.

Getting a License

cPanel includes a 45 day trial license by default. To add or remove licenses you must open a ticket with our sales department or email sales@steadfast.net. cPanel licenses are $10 a month each. We are hope to have automated cPanel license ordering available in the next several months.
