Network Maintenance: Edison, NJ Core Software Upgrade

We have scheduled a software upgrade on our core routers in Edison, NJ to bring them up to the current recommended software version. This upgrade is part of an ongoing regular maintenance schedule for our core network. Date: Sunday, February 28th, 2016 Customer Impact: During the maintenance, we will be updating the software on our core routers in Edison, NJ. We will upgrade to the currently recommended software version, which includes fixes for known bugs and adds new features. The upgrade will only be applied to a single device at a time, so at least one router will be online throughout the maintenance period. We expect the customer impact of this maintenance to be minimal, though some brief periods of localized inaccessibility and suboptimal routing may occur. The upgrade process is expected to take approximately one hour per router. Additional time is being allowed in case of issues with the process and for testing following the upgrade.
